CannonDesign and Blue Cottage partner with University of Michigan to develop smart CPR device that aims to restart more hearts

Backed by a $5.5 million grant, the University of Michigan Medical School’s Max Harry Weil Institute for Critical Care Research and Innovation is developing INSIGHT-CPR, a first-of-its-kind AI-powered point-of-care wearable sensor that helps rescuers personalize CPR in real time. CannonDesign and Blue Cottage are bringing expertise in design thinking, ethnography, medical technology implementation and go-to-market strategy to help make the life-saving device intuitive and ready for real-world impact.
