Dr. Cindy Hsu

ANN ARBOR - Dr. Cindy Hsu, principal investigator of INSIGHT-CPR, has been selected to join the 2026-2027 cohort of Fulbright Global Scholars.

The Fulbright Scholar Program is the United States government’s flagship program of international educational and cultural exchange. Established by Congress in 1946, it offers passionate and accomplished students and scholars in more than 160 countries the opportunity to study, teach, conduct research, and carry out professional projects with the goal of fostering a global exchange of ideas and mutual understanding. The Global Scholar Award--among the most competitive within the Fulbright Program--allows U.S. academics and professionals to engage in multi-country, multi-regional projects focused on research or on combined teaching/research activity in two to three countries within two different world regions.

Dr. Hsu’s project, "Human-Centered AI for Sudden Cardiac Arrest Resuscitation," will explore how AI-guided CPR tools can be adapted across different health systems. During her sabbatical, she will work with international partners in the UK and Taiwan to study how clinicians use these technologies in real-world settings.

This work will build upon Dr. Hsu's work with INSIGHT-CPR and reflects her leadership in advancing cardiac arrest care and resuscitation science on a global scale.

Congratulations Dr. Hsu!
