INSIGHT-CPR team walked in honor of heart health

Team Emergency Medicine, including multiple INSIGHT-CPR researchers, recently participated in the 2026 American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Walk to raise awareness for sudden cardiac arrest survivors, co-survivors, and the nearly 90% of individuals who do not survive. The team also walked to support lifesaving CPR training, cardiac arrest research, and programs that improve health and outcomes in the community.

INSIGHT-CPR would not have been possible without the AHA’s support. The team was proud to give back to an organization whose mission aligns so closely with the team’s work. The Heart Walk was a meaningful way to honor everyone affected by sudden cardiac arrest, and it was especially memorable to be joined this year by two sudden cardiac arrest survivors.
